RESOLVED THAT: the Special Meeting commence at the hour of 3:01 p.m. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT: Council acknowledges that we are meeting in the Robinson-Superior Treaty area on lands that have been traditionally used by several Indigenous nations, but, we would like to pay special recognition to our closest Indigenous neighbours, the communities of Biigtigong Nishnaabeg and Netmizaaggamig NishnaabegFirst Nations. We wish to recognize the long history of the First Nations and Métispeoples in our region, specifically, and show respect to them today.

RESOLVED THAT: Administration Report TR2025-03 submitted by Aaron MacGregor, Treasurer regarding 2025 Draft Budget and Preliminary 2023 and 2024 Budget Variance Reporting; and further, THAT Council approves the attached Schedule of Reserves and Reserve Funds for the 2023 and 2024 fiscal years, and authorizes the transfers therein with a net total transfer from reserves and reserve funds of $886,157.93 in 2023, and $2,661,668.29 in 2024; and further, THAT Council receives for information the attached preliminary 2023 and 2024 operating and capital budget variance reports; and further, THAT Council receives for information the draft 2025 operating and capital budgets, and directs staff to publish the draft budgets for public consultation.
